Insurance Company of East Africa [ICEA] commissioned ESF Consultants to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment study of an upcoming housing project comprising 60 housing units in a 20 acre plot; Comprising a 30-2 bedroom houses and detached 4-5 bedroom villas, a sports complex, play-fields, landscaped parkland and a maintenance building.

The proposed location is 2km away from the American Embassy in Gigiri(Nairobi, Kenya) along the United Nations Avenue and Magnolia close. Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment of this project which was to be undertaken in an ecologically and culturally sensitive forest ecosystem of Gigiri. The main task involved evaluation of the project its viability under these circumstances.
